The Walden School Teacher Training Institute

The Walden School Teacher Training Institute offers introductory weekend workshops and five and ten day intensives. The weekend workshops are designed to offer teachers an overview of the course. The longer, more in-depth courses focus on a particular portion of The Walden School Musicianship Course and offer daily instruction in musicianship, computer musicianship, solfege / rhythms, and improvisation.

Developing Creative Expression
Levels I & II

August 5-12, 2009
On the campus of the Dublin School
Dublin, New Hampshire

Level I Intensive includes creative teacher training in Musicianship, Solfège, Rhythms, Computer Musicianship, and Improvisation. This workshop partially fulfills requirements for Level I Certification.

Level II Intensive includes more advanced teacher training in all Level I subjects plus Jazz Musicianship. This workshop partially fulfills requirements for Level II Certification. (Prerequisite: completion of previous Level I Intensive)
